The Alpha will only be closed for a short time to verify that the first build is stable and playable for those who download it from itch. It will soon be available for anyone to download for free. Once an extensive alpha testing stage has been completed a price will be added to download the game but not until it is verified as stable and much more content has been added. I expect the free alpha test stage to last at least a few months.
